These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MyKal mobile application ("App") provided by MyKal LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MyKal. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You agree not to share your account with others or use another person's account without permission.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use MyKal only for its intended purpose — personal nutrition tracking. You may not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the App
• Abuse the AI features by sending harmful, offensive, or spam content
• Use automated tools or bots to access the App
• Impersonate others or misuse social features

4. Subscriptions & Payments

MyKal offers a Premium subscription with the following terms:

• Free trial: New users receive one free AI meal analysis to experience the service.
• Subscription plans: Monthly and yearly auto-renewable subscription plans are available.
• Payment: Payments are processed through your Apple ID account and charged to your payment method on confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID settings (iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

5. AI-Generated Content

MyKal uses artificial intelligence to analyze meals and provide nutrition estimates. These estimates are for informational and tracking purposes only. They are not medical advice, and we do not guarantee their accuracy. Always consult a healthcare professional for medical nutrition guidance.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology in MyKal are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of content you create in the App (meal logs, goals, messages). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

MyKal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to health decisions made based on AI-generated nutrition estimates.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the App settings, which permanently removes all your data.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Wyoming. MyKal is operated by MyKal LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
