How do I log a meal?
From the home screen, tap the "+" button. You can type what you ate, use voice input, or take a photo of your meal. Our AI will analyze it and calculate the nutrition info automatically.
How accurate is the AI analysis?
Our AI provides estimates based on standard food databases and image recognition. For best results, describe portion sizes clearly (e.g., "2 eggs" instead of "eggs"). The estimates are meant for tracking trends, not exact medical nutrition.
Can I change my calorie targets?
Yes! Go to Settings, tap your info card, and edit your nutrition targets. You can also update your weight, height, and activity level to recalculate BMR-based targets.
How do I add a friend?
Go to the Friends tab, tap "Add Friend", and either scan your friend's QR code or enter their friend code manually. They'll need to accept your request.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > MyKal to manage or cancel.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings in the app, scroll to the bottom, and tap "Delete Account". This permanently removes all your data and cannot be undone.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.
